Number Five
Having seen the first four clocks I produced, a couple asked if I would make them a clock. They particularly liked Arts and Crafts style and we worked together to produce a design that would reflect their taste drawing particularly from Number One. All of the details were worked out with them from the type of wood for the case (quarter-cut White Oak) to the dial (hammered copper) to the hands and all of the other details. The result was a mantle clock with hour and half-hour chime with silencer, and their choice of font for the numerals. To simplify adjustment, a mechanism is incorporated into the movement to allow fine adjustments to be made from the front of the dial as opposed to the more customary pendulum adjustment accessible only through the back of the clock.
