Number Twenty Three - Dragonfly

This clock incorporates a ceramic dragon inlaid into the front panel.  The case is fashioned from Black Cherry.  It is not stained but is treated using a centuries-old method that oxidizes the wood, bringing out the wood's natural colour.  The eight-day movement was made by Smiths in England in the mid 1930's.  It counts the hour and half hour on a soft gong.
